Three suspects were in custody and guns and narcotics were recovered after a car struck a bus shelter early Friday in Lake View on the North Side.
No one was injured.
About 3 a.m., police attempted to stop a black Nissan with four males inside it when they fled from officers in the 3900 block of North Seminary Avenue and crashed into a bus shelter in the 3800 block of North DuSable Lake Shore Drive, Chicago police said.
The males then fled on foot and three of them were placed into custody, police said.
Two handguns and an unknown amount of narcotics were found in the vehicle.
No further details were immediately available.
