A shooting inside a car in Lake View left a man in critical condition and a woman arrested early Wednesday.
Around 3:05 a.m., the man and woman, 25 and 23, were inside a vehicle in the 2900 block of North Pine Grove Avenue when the gun went off and hit the man in the head, Chicago police said.
Paramedics treated him on the scene before he was rushed to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
A firearm was recovered at the scene and charges are pending for the woman, who was taken into custody.
