A 14-year-old boy was shot and killed late Sunday night in a Little Village apartment.
Around 10:20 p.m., officers responded to an apartment in the 2200 block of South Christiana Avenue when they found the boy shot in the chest, Chicago police said.
Police officers and firefighters tried to save his life but he was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Area 4 detectives are investigating but no arrests have been made.
