A teenage boy was shot and wounded Friday afternoon in Englewood.
The 15-year-old was standing on a sidewalk about 2:20 p.m. in the 5900 block of South Sangamon Street when someone fired shots, Chicago police said.
The boy suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, according to police.
No arrests were reported.
